Why should I donate through NEEDBOX Foundation?

We respect your decision to donate and understand that you want your donations to make a difference. We offer an online donation platform where we list credible charities and non-profits and you as donors can browse through this list and can make a donation. We accomplish verification of charities/non-profits after a 360-degree validation and then list them on our platform. We also update you on your donation via your registered email.

Can I donate to NEEDBOX Foundation?

NEEDBOX Foundation does not accept donations in order to carry out its objectives. The greatest approach is you make a donation through our platform.

How much of my donation actually goes to the charities/non-profits?

Though we are a non-profit organization, we have costs to cover for our existence and sustainability. We only retain our operating costs of ~18% plus payment gateway charges of ~2%, ensuring that ~80% of your donation reaches the charities/non-profits of your choice.

What is 'General Donation e-Box'?

If you are not able to decide where to donate, you can make a donation to our 'General Donation e-Box’. Donations received in the 'General Donation e-Box' are channelise to charities/non-profits where urgent support is needed. We will be sharing a detailed donation report with you via your registered email.

What is a 'Monthly Donation Plan'?

In a 'Monthly Donation Plan', a donor contributes a fixed donation amount every month to a selected charity/non-profit of his/her choice. It’s just like paying monthly bills.


Advantage of Monthly Donation Plan: When you give monthly for a long time, your generosity becomes more than just a donation; it becomes an investment. You become more engaged with the charity/non-profit and your donation ensures sustainable work for them.


How to register for Monthly Donation Plan: You will have to fill up a short one-time form (Name, Contact & Email ID), and you will receive a call from us to take it forward.

When does my 'Monthly Donation Plan' get charged to me?

‘Monthly Donation Plan’ becomes due in a 30-day cycle. For example, if you donate on the 25th of the month, your next donation will be 30 days later, and so on.

Do I have to give my PAN number?

If your annual donations exceed Rs.50,000/-, we would need your PAN number.

What are the causes that I can support through this platform?

We collaborate with charities and non-profits that support causes such as education, medical, and animal care. You can contribute to a range of causes listed on our platform. Click here to browse through the causes.

How do I search for a cause that I wish to support?

Click here to browse through. The page allows you to filter from a list of causes, you can even filter the location where the charities/non-profits operate.

Is it possible for me to donate to more than one cause?

There is no bar on the number of causes you support. The information on the charities/non-profits you support will be shared with you via your registered email.

How do I donate to this platform?

There are multiple ways to navigate through this platform to make a donation. Here is the most simple and quick way to donate by following the below instructions:

How do I know if my donation has reached charities/non-profits?

We will share a detailed donation report on your registered email. The report contains a description of donation utilisation along with supporting documents. You will also receive a Donation Receipt with specifications such as the name of the charity/non-profit, the donation amount, etc. The donation receipt is of a high value of authentication proof to ensure that donation will reach.

How is the security of my identity ensured when I donate through this platform?

We place a high value on the safety of your information. When it comes to collecting, storage, and dissemination of personally identifiable donor and charities/non-profits’ information, we use physical, electronic, and procedural controls.

What is the procedure for cancelling my 'Monthly Donation Plan'?
